Kanha National Park

Also, in thi place one can go for rafting in the Kosi River. One can also book a 3 hours jeep safari early in the morning which will take you deep inside the forest and one can explore the flora and fauna. One can also go for an elephant safari inside the jungle. It is very easy to spot animals like quails, parakeets, boars, antelopes and barbets here.
Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary
This one is located in Koyna of Maharashtra and one can get to see the beauty of Western Ghats on one side and the beautiful Shivsagar Lake on the other side. This place acquires an area of 420 square kilometres and one can get to see a lot of wild animals here like tigers, sloth bears, giant squirrels, cobras, pythons and brown capped woodpeckers. This place is situated at a distance of 183 kilometres from Pune city and the best time to visit this place is from October to April.
Agumbe Rain Forest
As the name goes this rain forest is the best thing to be viewed in rains. This place is a small village in the state of Karnataka which observes the heaviest rainfall in the southern part of India. That is why; this place is also called as the Cherrapunji of south. There are tall waterfalls and a lot of plants which are not observed elsewhere. Some animals that one can get to see here are giant squirrels, great hornbill, king cobra, lion tailed macaque.
